CASSA opens TDMMA 2026, a five-day workshop on the changing sky CASSA opened its Time-Domain and Multi-Messenger Astronomy workshop at IUB on 7 September. Founded in 2025, the Center for Astronomy, Space Science and Astrophysics (CASSA) is an autonomous, multidisciplinary research center of Independent University, Bangladesh, working under the Office of the Vice Chancellor. Its work runs on three missions — research, teaching and outreach — with the vision to be a pathfinder in Bangladesh, impactful in South Asia, and part of the international community in these fields.
